About me

My name is Catriona, I have been working as a Speech and Language Therapist for seven years. I studied Speech and Language therapy in NUI Galway where I graduated in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) degree in SLT.

I am a registered member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT), and The Independent Speech-Language Therapists of Ireland (ISTI).

I have worked in a variety of settings (clinic settings, homes, schools and preschools)  supporting children and adolescents with speech, language and social communication challenges. I have also worked with adults with various speech and language difficulties. I am a creative therapist eager to support and advocate for individuals who need this support. I aim to empower those with communication difficulties in bringing about positive change.I implement several evidence based program’s to maximise the outcomes of the intervention to suit individual needs. 

I have gained experience in working with a variety of client groups, both children and adults. I have extensive experience with children attending: Early Intervention Services, School age disability Services and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
